About this Recipe

By: Dr.Dusana Plechlo

I often use just water in this recipe, but feel free to use a choise of milk for added taste.  However, even with water, this mousse is a tasty treat, I guarantee that your sweet craving taste will be satisfied every time. Chia seeds, which are native to Central America, have long been touted as a superfood. But those little seeds can be made into pudding, blended into smoothies or oatmeal, and even baked into bread! Not only are they versatile, but they’re chock full of health.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cup milk (coconut, almond) or water
  • ½ cup organic chia seeds
  • 6 tablespoons (TBS) of organic cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2-3 TBS of honey or other healthy sweetener to taste (such as agave syrup or pure maple syrup)

Healthy Desert

Everyone in my household loves this healthy dessert. Its delicious taste and excellent energy renewing potential is a winner every time. Plus, it takes only 5 minutes to make it.
