Brussels sprouts can provide some special cholesterol-lowering benefits if the steaming method is used to cook them.

 

Ingredients

 

  • 20 Brussel sprouts quartered 
  • ¼ cup Mediterranean Dressing

MEDITERRANEAN DRESSING

 

  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon (TBS) fresh lemon juice
  • 3 TBS extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste Himalayan pink salt and ground black pepper

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Steam Brussels sprouts in steamer pot for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Make Mediterranean Dressing by whisking all ingredients well.

 

Step 3

Once steamed toss Brussel Sprouts in Mediterranean Dressing.

 

Step 4

Serve with your favorite salad.

 

Step 5

Serve and enjoy!
